Conscious Check-Ins

Resilience

Recognize the Challenge

Resilience begins with noticing when something feels difficult and recognizing how we respond. Stress might show up as tension in the body, racing thoughts, frustration, or the urge to avoid a task. Remember, resilience doesn’t mean avoiding difficulty or pushing through at all costs. It begins with recognizing what’s happening within us and responding with awareness.

When we become aware of these responses, we create space to pause, understand what we’re experiencing, and choose how to move forward. Let’s practice!

Meditation

Body Scan

There’s nothing to fix or change—simply notice what you feel.

Pause and bring your attention to your body. Starting with your feet on the ground, slowly scan upward toward the crown of your head. Notice any tension, warmth, heaviness, restlessness, or ease.

minutes

Breathwork

Belly Breath

Cam the body and sharpen the mind.

Place both hands on your belly. Breathe comfortably and notice the gentle rise and fall beneath your hands. Allow your breath to slow naturally, if comfortable, and observe how your body responds.

Journal

Name That Challenge

Write and reflect.

Take a few moments to reflect and write:

  • What feels challenging right now?
  • What am I noticing in my thoughts, emotions, and body?
  • What might I need to help me navigate this challenge?
