Good Morning Wake Up – Awake Week 2

Dear Friend,

Awake

Start your day by acknowledging any discomfort or negativity in your life. Take a moment to reflect on how it truly makes you feel. If something feels familiar and comfortable, it’s a sign that your subconscious mind is at ease. However, remember that your subconscious mind can become automated and programmed. If your conscious mind is not awake and leading the charge, your brain will follow its patterns. For example, many people feel they don’t have time for exercise, but it’s important to notice that our words have a powerful influence on our behaviors. Conscious contemplation can empower you to manifest your desired outcomes.

Aware

As you begin implementing new habits, cultivate a genuine desire for them. The thought of these changes evokes specific feelings that will motivate you towards realizing them. Could you flip the script and change your mantra to align with your new goals? This shift in mindset can bring on new feelings and emotions that fuel your progress and enhance your awareness. Imagine how you would feel in your mind and body if you started your day with deep breaths and a good morning stretch. This simple routine can set the tone for a successful and fulfilling day.

Align

After a restful night’s sleep, your body may feel stiff and disconnected. Starting your day with alignment and movement can help alleviate this stiffness. Breathing and stretching your body sends neurotransmitters and hormones, awakening your brain and body. Movement helps wake up your physical form and stimulates your mind.

Activate

When you embark on a new journey, it may feel unfamiliar and uncomfortable. However, with consistent practice, you’ll build new brain and body pathways through neuroplasticity. The more you engage in these new activities, the more comfortable and familiar they become.

Activate Practice of the Week

Mindful Movement

Try activating your day with three deep breaths, followed by mindful movement to open your hips, unwind your spine, and release any tension in your lower back.
